Yummy for brekkie or a snack or light meal. If you aren’t Australian you might not like the vegemite, but it is great stuff. Absolutely best with stuff fresh picked from the garden.


• sourdough toast
• light cream cheese or mashed avocado
• vegemite
• sliced tomatoes
• chopped basil and parsley
• chopped spring onion


toast the sourdough
spread with vegemite and cream cheese or avocado
top with tomatoes, spring onion and herbs
Cut into fingers
